Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
1146 Central Ave, minutes away from Margarita City.

I'm new to waxing. What should I know?
If you're new to the waxing experience, it may all seem a little scary, but don't worry you're in great hands. Click the " New to waxing tab for everything you need to know to be prepared.
What should I know about chemical peels?
Chemical peels are a form of exfoliation that help penetrate the skin's layers revealing new bright skin. Because of the nature of peels, there are some precautions to take.
Do not use a peel if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, or similar medications. If you are not sure what medications could have side effects please list your medications on your intake form.
No direct sun exposure after a peel. If you must go out, hats and scarves are recommended. SPF 30 or higher should be worn daily, but UVA/UVB protection is a must for 2 weeks after each treatment.
No waxing after a peel. The skin is now more susceptible to lifting and scarring, so treat with care.
No exercising for 24 hours. Heavy perspiration can irritate the skin.
No makeup. We are putting in a lot of hard work to make your skin glow. Don't undo it by putting makeup onto healing skin.
There is a service agreement required before being considered for a chemical peel.
Where do I change out of my clothing?
To allow guests most of their reservation time, I do not step out during the changing process. However if you are receiving a spa treatment of about an hour I will step out of the room to allow you to change and get comfortable in the bed. Time is precious and I want to maintain the flow of the service. I respect your body (It is my career to care for it.) and I don't ever want my guests to feel uncomfortable. Our treatment room is fitted with door to ensure your privacy in the spa.
What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Venmo, apple pay and Zelle and cash. *We DO NOT accept checks

Do you accept tips?
Yes, I do. Credit cards are accepted, but cash is always greatly appreciated.

Hair left after my waxing. What should I do?
Hair grows in 3 stages and depending on when you start waxing some hair can be left behind, especially if some of the hair is too short. At The Pink Powder Room, we understand you want to be smooth and sexy, so we have a "Touch Up" policy in place. All guests can receive a Free Touch Up service up until 5 business days after their original reservation. *Please note I reserve the right to resend my "Touch Up" policy for any reason. Certain limitations apply.

I'm under 18, can I receive service?
All guests between the ages of 15 to 17 must have a parent or guardian accompany them to their first visit to give verbal consent to receive service. This consent will be documented in our system. Any guest under the age of 15 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times in the treatment room.
Do all your services require a deposit?
All services totaling over $100 are subject to a $25 deposit. This deposit will be able to transferred to one rescheduled appointment in the event the client can not make their original appointment.
I want a refund.
Refunds will only be issued for legitimate medical concerns, such as burns and irritation. All guests with these concerns must come in to be examined by the technician to verify the condition and to receive post-care recommendations. If a refund is required it will be issued in the original form of payment or store credit.
